NAJA MUNTHE AND THE MOTHERS' AID

NAJA MUNTHE SOLD OUT OF HER PRIVATE WARDROBE, AND THE ENTIRE AMOUNT GOES UNCUT TO THE MOTHERS' AID

BBack in June 2020, MUNTHE, held our biannual collection sale, which under normal circumstances is held twice a year in both Aarhus and Copenhagen.
Due to Covid19 and the need for a sharper focus on distancing and hygiene, this time it was only held in Copenhagen.

MUNTHE is a wonderful example of a business where sustainability and social responsibility can easily go hand in hand by having a responsible attitude and caring for society.
MUNTHE has always tried to act responsibly and emphasize the notion that clothes should also be sold for charity - among other things to fight breast cancer, PLAN, the Red Cross, cancer in children, the Danish Women's Society, Mødrehjælpen (The Danish Mothers' Aid) and others.

This time, DKK 13,550 was raised for Mødrehjælpen.

“For me, it is important to show that the fashion industry can easily join in with social responsibility, sustainability, a sharp business approach, a creative platform and a desire to contribute to - and make a difference for - society.
It's about doing business in a way that minimizes negative impacts and maximizes positive value for people, the environment and the economy. For 26 years MUNTHE has been contributing to making Denmark a design nation and we have also always felt an obligation to support relief work.
Mødrehjælpen works to increase public and political understanding of the conditions of pregnant women and families with children - including poverty, a healthy civil society, violence, poor children and social efforts. For me, it makes so much sense to support them.”
